Predict equipment maintenance and inventory restocking

For Equipment maintenance plan, select the equipment record. Enter the last service date and manufacturer interval in days, or current operating hours, next service hours and expected use per day. When both methods are available, the earliest estimated due date is shown. Update the readings when usage changes.

For Inventory restocking plan, select the inventory record. Record current quantity and its measurement date, daily use, supplier lead time, reserve and a common unit. The estimate subtracts lead time from the date quantity is expected to reach reserve. Zero or unknown consumption cannot establish a depletion forecast.

After service or restocking, complete the old plan with its actual date and create a new plan with current readings/quantity. These forecasts do not place orders or change inventory counts automatically.
